    Hi All,
house next to us go broken into last night, the scumbags jimmied out the front window and climbed in through it before legging it having been disturbed. Im wondering if anyone can tell me how to set the alrm on our house, Aritech CS350, for when we go to bed ? will a standard set, the one we do when we leave the house, get triggered if we walk around in the house to go into the kids at night or something... any advice would be great.
    Thanks

0 down arrow 7 for part set. Beams should be off for that setting.

will this mean that any banging of windows and doors will trigger the alarm? thanks

Normally, yes. The installer along with the householder decides what to omit on the part set. Wouldn't do any harm to test it yourself.

Just rehashing this thread chaps... I'm looking to do a part set for the night time whilst were asleep but want to only active the downstairs windows and doors. Is there a way of doing this on an Airtech Cs350
    Thanks

Yes, do you have engineer access to the panel?

no, i dont think so. the alarm was already in the house when we moved in 9 years ago. any way of doing it without the engineer code or getting it from somewhere?
    cheers

You can try request the engineer code from the original installer or get another installer in to reset it.
You may be able to default the panel as follows :

Power down the panel by turning off the mains power and disconnect the battery.
    Remove the link marked LK1.
Power up again. If you are prompted to select language the panel is defaulted.
Disarm using 01122 & enter 01278 to enter engineer mode.
If you do this you will have to programme up all the settings again.
For part set goto Zones>Attributes. Any zone you apply the PG attribute to will be off when the system is part set.
