Import charges

I'm looking to import a double training broadsword from the USA for kung fu training. The swords are unsharpened and are for training purposes only. They will cost $89.95 and delivery to Ireland will be $59. Anyone know if I will have to pay any further import charges when it arrives in this country? And how much they will be?

    Thanks

You need to make sure that it's not on a prohibited import items list, otherwise it could be confiscated by customs. You're over the import for free limit so you're liable for import duty and VAT on the total cost, purchase price plus delivery (not just purchase price), plus an additional collection fee.
