Tabby - The first open source car, costs €6k

Not sure what to make of this, it's basically a car you can put together yourself in little over an hour, being open source the customization options are endless, it cost €6,000 to get going and that includes an engine.

I got the 6k from the bloomberg link, there Italians probably not to hot either, doesn't look like its worth much more than 2 and being Italian it probably suffers from clown car depreciation.

Also its not the first. The earliest cars were rolling chassis and sent to a coach builder for a body
