When is the next grant payment for renewed applications?

    My first grant payment was the 11th Oct. (renewed application)

    I was told through email by SUSI that my next grant payment should of been last Friday, but my grant never came through?

    Did anyone receive their payment last Friday or anyone know what the story is?

    The exact same thing happened to me, and I heard at least 4 people complaining about it between lectures, the only thing any one has heard is that it is supposed to be this Friday.

    Personally I am glad I have a free student overdraft thing, otherwise I would be *attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis* :/ It's not ok for them to leave 5 weeks between payments with no warning.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?     tits didnt pay me all last year. they sent me an award letter at beggining of last school yr telling me to give them my account details so they could pay me my maintenance grant. heard nothing for ages any time i rang them i got told a different lie, one minute they dont have confirmation from my college, the next they want a letter from the social telling them im not on back to education allowance. in feb they send me another award letter congratulating me on getting my fees paid only. after 2 appeals and months of stress and useless phonecalls to their ''helpdesk'' i got my maintenance grant in July. they assured me that this was a mistake on their system and that it has since been fixed but guess what... they are doing it again! every time i call them its another lie to fob me off. last week they wanted proof from social welfare AGAIN this week a superviser said that they are still processing my payment.. not sure what that is meant to mean. inbetween those calls though the very unhelpfull helpdesk like to give me false hope each week by telling me im getting paid on 18th oct... that comes and goes i call again they say next friday, and again and again and again. i hate them
