Burning videos to discs?

    I recently burned some videos to a DVD Rewriteable disc. It will play the videos on a laptop but won't play them in a DVD player. Can anyone help or advise me on this? Thanks.

    What format are the files and does the player recognise those formats?

    You need to use DVD authoring software to get it into the correct format for commercial DVD players.

    If you intend playing them on specific DVD player check to see if it supports DivX or Xvid files.
