    Does anyone know if you're still eligible for the grant if you go abroad for a year with an exchange programme. My fees would still be paid to my college as usual

    If you ordinarily get a grant and continue to meet the criteria, then yes, you will still get it. Your college/university will also have a support fund available for flights and in the case of some countries where the CPI is higher than Ireland, accommodation.
