Amazon.de shipping costs

    Hi, was looking to buy a printer from Amazon in Germany. The printer is sold by Amazon and not a third party and qualifies for free shipping but when I add it to basket its charging me €16 for shipping with no option of free shipping.

    Is this the norm or am I doing something wrong?

    Yeah I think only customers in Germany qualify for the free super saver delivery. Try amazon uk? And if the shipping isnt great use parcel motel.. Also compare the currency coversion options to see which works out cheaper.

    Thanks for the quick reply. The printer is €90.75 on amazon.de and £109.99 on amazon.co.uk. Would have been a nice saving but for the shipping costs.

    Yeah i had a quick look around and the amazon.de is definately the best value...amazon uk being the next. Sorry about that :)

    I have that brother printer and its amazing. You can get excellent generic toner for less than €20. I have it for 6 months and there hasnt been a single problem.
