Guys quick question. I'm trying to change my file permissions on a shell script I wrote but I'm getting an error.

    the command I ran was : chmod u+e add.sh

I'm getting this error message - chmod: Invalid file mode: u+e

I can change the read and write permissions but not the execute permission

    Anyone have any suggestions
