I want to port forward to access i.p cams remotely and I have entered in the LAN i.p for the cam and the port to open and have enabled upnp and still cannot gain access pathway , any idea folks. Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to forward the port 80 to the ip camera/dvr.

I would setup a static ip address for the dvr though before forwarding it. If the ip cameras/dvr uses https instead of http use 443 instead of port 80.

What cameras/dvr is it? You may need to forward other ports.
