    Hi All,

Hope you can help. Have the similar problem as Noel. Cold tap is fine but very low pressure on hot tap. We have a storage heating and boost/water heater in the hall hot press. When we heard of the water restriction we turn off the water heater as we didn't want it to blow if there was no water. All working find with boost the light comes on and timer turn it on and off.

I have a feeling it may be the pump. As the bathroom is low on both hot and cold.

Can anybody help before i have to ring my landlord on Monday. :(

Most of these pumps will re-start by un-plugging / switching off the pump power supply for 20 -30 seconds and then back on again.
Sometimes you may need to remove the spur fuse or simply drop the trip switch at the fuse board. Either way you need to stop the electricity going to the pump.
After restoring the power the pump should re-start. Run taps and showers for a moment to check your pressure.
If after 3 - 4 attempts to re-start nothing happens and the pump does not start, it means that the Printed Circuit Board most likely needs to be replaced, it is also prudent to change the capacitor while you are at it to save you trouble later.
    Hope that is of help.
