Date on Car Battery

    I need to change my battery but cannot find the receipt so i don't know if its still under warranty, I don't see anything stamped on it either apart from the bottom which has two clocks with arrows but them dates don't add up.
    It's a halfords one, don't worry, if its not under warranty i'll be buying the new one elsewhere :D

    If you paid by credit card it might be on statement.

    The date on battery is when it was filled with acid and charged ready for sale.
    It won't be the sale date you bought it in shop.

    I know that but it will give me a bit of an idea if it's still under warranty. Online banking doesn't go back that far so cannot check that either
