Joe Duffy. He said Fair City was more realistic.

The above is not a joke or an attempt at trolling. He actually said that!

Is this an attempt at viral marketing?

    It kind of sucks.

He likes Ireland, I'm fairly sure he identifies himself as American-Irish so he has an affinity for the place. Ferrell/Farrell. :)

can't wait for love/hate to end. all the ****ers in work with absolutely no lives talk about it constantly and look at you like you have two heads when you say you don't watch it and have no interest in watching it.

It has nothing to do with him liking Ireland, its a tv spot done by paramount ireland division.

There will be one done for every country where they want to advertise in

    Its called making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I only started watching it a short while ago. It's surprisingly good. Good script, pretty good acting and good production values.

The only annoying thing is all the pricks who like it. So i still refuse to talk about it in work and pretend i've never watched it.

Nope.. don't watch soaps either (or "live" TV at all really)

Boardwalk Empire, Suits, The Sopranos, The Shield, The West Wing, Homeland, Scrubs, Two and a Half Men (the Charlie Years), Band of Brothers etc would be more my kind of viewing really.

Yeah I held out against Breaking Bad for a while. I don't know why I have that reaction when everyone tells me how great something is. I kinda get annoyed for some reason. But I borrowed the first four series from a friend and now I'm completely hooked.

That's a decent list. I'd be very surprised if you didn't like Breaking Bad then.
