Hi! My daughter has loved mlp for a couple of years now. I was wondering where I can buy the comics (not the kids magazines) in Ireland, also is there anywhere where else I can buy the background ponies apart from ebay? I got a lemon one, sorry can't remember her name and a princess twilight sparkle but the others seem to go for lots of money!
Trying to get a decent amount of pony based stuff for Xmas as it's literally all she plays with!
    Thanks!

Hey! My daughters are big into MLP too, and I started getting into it through them :)
What do you mean with background ponies, do you mean the plastic toys?

Hiya, sorry she calls them background ponies! The likes of Lyra, Trixie, Honeybuzz, flitter heart. She has collected all the main g4 ponies but wants them all now! Lol! She's only recently started watching the tv series. Hadn't realised it was on TV!
I loved them back in the 80's too, they're so different now.

Forbidden Planet also have some other pony merchandise in from time to time. There's a MLP poster there at the minute, and also some t-shirts (adult sizes though)

With background ponies it'll depend on the gen. G4 brushables are usually available in Smyths and Toymaster, for reasonable ish prices (comparison shop). G3 you might have some luck with. Other than that, it's online or customised bases.

FBP are decent for some stuff, but the selection is limited and overpriced compared to other shops. Comics though, they're best for.
