Repair vs. New Laptop

My ASUS N76VM was damaged due to a liquid spill. Local repair stores were unable to source parts to repair it, therefore I contacted Komplett about having it repaired, at an estimated €320+. Right now I am undecided as to weather or not I should purchase a new laptop(with a budget of €500) or go ahead with the repair?
