Hi guys, anyone know of, or have use any company in the cork area that supply and install secondary glazing. We priced replacement double glazed but was around the €3000 for 8 windows so its to much for us. This is another option, so just wondering if anyone used or has this type of work done before. thanks

This crows replace single glazing in timber windows with double glazing, I've never used them so can't speak for their competence.

If it's single to double with a pvc window can it be done? will there be enough space in the frame for the double glazing to fit in?

suggest you look up golden pages for people who do that work.

Anything less than a proper job is money wasted in my book. I've been there. Wait and save up for the proper product that will last a lifetime rather than cheaper now and replace in 5 years . Up to you !
€3000 for 8 windows sounds about right.

Seriously, only get the proper job done. I ve tried cheaper options before. There not worth it. Save up. And wait.

ps. I'm a plumber not a window Co. out for work ! +I have wasted money in the past.
