Why is Sky sound louder than Saorview

    Why is Sky sound louder than Saorview. Watching the same programme at the same time, & switch from Saorview aeriel to Sky, the sound is much louder on Sky. Anyone else notice this. Why is this. Just curious.

    Probably depends on the TV. Mine is the opposite, Saorview is significantly louder than Sky.

    You can only do that on the SD boxes. The new HD EPGs don't have the volume option.

    Look for AVL on your TVs menu, if it has AVL it will adjust the audio to be the same on all channels and inputs,
