Looking to buy satellite receiver, going to get Vu+ solo (not clone) but the website that I was on said the Optibox EVO M7 had a better spec and is a few quid cheaper. Has anyone any experience of both ?

I haven't used either tbh but from reading reviews, the vu solo 2 is supposed to be brilliant.

My budget is the first Solo version. Not sure if its called the Solo 1. I'm also looking at the GigaBlue HD 800 SE Plus. Still no idea as to which to get. Any help appreciated.

bph say what you would like to achieve and then I can suggest a box. the solo is too old. the optibox has nor and nand flash = new to me.
