Oil heating problem

Can anyone tell me what the problem may be with my heating. I am resigned to calling someone out but I'd like to be able to point them in a specific direction.
My boiler is starting up and my pump is working but the rads don't heat. I have bled the boiler the rads the pump , reset the pump and the boiler. There is water in the tank and water in the rads and there is no problem with the oil supply.

The boilers works away grand but as there is no hot water leaving the system it will just cut out when it starts to overheat. My father suggested there could be rust in the pump ? Is this possible? The heating was not used last year so it's been idle for a long time. There was a lot of air in the rads to be honest but none now. I am lost now can any one help? I am trying to keep costs down and trying to find a good plumber. Also I am worried about how much access to the house a plumber would need as I have an adult with a few disabilities and autism and he won't tolerate anyone in the house apart from me his mum. I am desperate , can anyone help?

I'd wonder if the pump is running/pumping?
Maybe try bleeding the pump again and see how it goes..

Also are there any electro mechanical valves on the system... they can fail and maybe its stuck closed..

Hi thanks for the reply. I just bled the pump again and definitely no air. The pump is definitely running as I can hear it and feel it running but I suppose that does not mean it's pumping ? Can't see any values. The copper pipe leaving the boiler to house was leaking at one stage but that was repaired a while back. Could that have anything to do with all this?

Not being smart but are you sure you have oil ??

It is not just the burner starting up by any chance after a reset??

Bleeding the rads is pointless unless you have some heat in them. If you have air locked rads the rads will be hot and cold in patches. To me it sounds like the pump is stuck. The motor may be working but that doesn't mean the impeller is spinning. The boiler is shutting oit because the high limit stat is shutting it off because the water in the boiler is reaching a certain temp and not getting pumped out.

I have a full tank of oil . Yes I think it is thr pump because the hot water is not leaving the boiler. I understood why it was cutting out. The pump is making noise but as you say it may not be pumping. Thanks for the replies. Now to find plumber .
