    Hi Everyone,
Probably a bit of a strange question... so I will start with some background.

I work for a call center in Dublin, I do language support for a different country. I have been working here for 3 years. My team is about 40 people, all supporting countries in Europe in different languages. Since we started ( 2010) we earn 28k a years, this number has not increased. People that start new in 2013 suddenly get 33k. You can imagine we, the people who are experienced ans have been working here for 3 years are quite upset by this.

We are writing a letter to our management that this situation is unbearable and that we want to have an increase in salary as well. We are writing down all these arguments.

One of the guys said that the tax we pay over the salary has also increased since we started in 2010. where netto we kept 2k is now 1.8.

We however need substantial proof we can put in this letter, our payslips is not enough.

Is there anyone who knows what I mean and can help? I am talking about income tax, prsi, or whatever else could affect this. Living expense.. anything that we can prove really...

Salary is negotiated between you and your employer. There is no obligation to pay you the same.

However if you are a woman and doing an equal job to a man and being paid less...... A whiff of sexual discrimination case might get you that raise.
