    1:40 Southwell - Trojan Sun 4/1 (Bet365)

For me, everything clicks into place for this horse to win tomorrow. The trainer is in great form. The jockey is in great form particularly, in chases. The horse itself has been competitive over soft ground at this distance. I an hoping that by dropping this horse back in distance from running over 3 miles, we can see a return to form tomorrow.

Caged Lightning was backed at Dundalk last week and has been dropped very generously by the handicapper. Tonight could be the night

6.45 Dundalk Kanes Pass 7/2 could be very well in returned to the polytrack off a mark of 61. Willie McCreery's 4 year old hasn't raced at Dundalk since March 2012 but he definitely acts on the surface as seen by 2 good runs in Maidens at the track. Since then, he's been kept exclusively to turf where he has progressed to a mark of 75 and if he's improved as a horse since then as opposed to for the switch to turf then he could be very well handicapped off a 14lb lower AW mark tonight. The wide draw isn't ideal for a horse who often likes to get on with things but he often breaks very quickly from the stalls so it shouldn't prove too big a negative. Could take a lot of beating.

Dundalk 7.45 Lord Kenmare 9/1 NAP.This is the best handicapped horse running tonight in a very long time.Mick Halford could not have picked a race to suit any better. If he comes back to anything near his run against Paene Magnus he wins hard held.Tzar Paul wont stay,Valley Queen won a terrible and is up in weight,Mc Taggert is really nh bred and poor,Cheers Buddy Paul Hennessy got rid of him,Bomber Jackson up in weight for close 3rd in poor race Liberty To Rock is up in weight and has had plenty of chances,Royal Beauty has a chance from stall 1 and then the rest are out of the handicap. If back to anywhere near his best I would win on him.Bribe The bouncer ran a lovely race at Roscommon over the tight 7f .All at sea over the first and second bends then in the long straight he flew in what is usually highly competitive 2yr old races at Ros.6/1 is decent odds in a race not anywhere near as good.

Draw is perfect as he needs to come wide as he is a hold up horse, low draw would have been a negitive. In the race against Paene Magnus he was drawn 13 and the winner drawn 1 and winning time was staggering in the context of tonight

Ran well and had every chance 2F out but a well beaten 2nd in the end. Outstayed by a winner that won going away.

Settled on one bet for tonight, Khelino in the 8.15 8/1. Think this is a serious each way bet, she won on her second start at 2 when backed in from massive odds and looked like she might get some black type over sprint distances. She totally lost her way and was stepped up to a mile in what looked a last ditch attempt to improve her having dropped to a mark of 52 from a high of 80, and she won by half a length this time last year, but she looked value for a few lengths more she was given a bad ride, boxed in and flew home.

She was raised to 59 and was beaten under 2 lengths off that mark next time. She hasn't won since but has ran several good races in defeat but looked a shade high in the weights, but dropped to 52 again and beaten only a neck in July over this course and distance. Was placed two runs back off 55 and although she only ran okay last time here the handicapper looks to have been very generous to drop her 4lbs for that. Runs off a mark of 51 here in what is an open race I'd be disappointed if she didn't give a run for your money

    I've backed it too.
Frustrating horse as she often runs well without winning.

Declan McDonagh rides for the first time. Hopefully he'll find a way to get her over the line in front.
Will be bang there regardless and looks rock solid each way.

Rare feat for Lucinda Russell at Hexham & Musselburgh today, five winners with five different jockeys on board

Looked like he lost his foot AND was nearly unseated in the straight. Unreal effort to win.
