    Hi , Would anyone know of any Pig Butchers that would Kill and Cut up a pig in the North Kerry area , thanks

    Hi, Would you know of any Butcher that would Cure , make Sausages and Black Pudding that is located in the Kerry , Limerick or Cork area.

    Finns in mitchelstown will kill pigs, Im sure they will look after you, once you have tags etc for the pigs

    you could try Ashgrove Meats, in Newcastle West, think Griffins might do it in Athea also.

    Looked into this and it is more expensive than we thought. Have to buy a trailer for transport and a Hitch to attach the car and this runs into a couple of hundred euro. So will have to give this a miss sadly.

    I agree..
    A bit of bartering should do the trick.. You'd be surprised what a fella would do for a fresh ham for Christmas..

    Just booked our two into the slaughterhouse today... They have ten days left before their "world tour"

    A friend who gives me the use of an acre gets a leg & a few chops, if you have space for 2, ask a local farmer to collect them for you when buying & then a run to them to the butcher, give him a whole ham leg, he might need a turn done down the road.
    Also Barter is very hard to tax :-S
