I have an 08 caddy... 76000 miles... serviced last week... let van run low in diesel and started stuttering so pulled in, filled it with diesel and van not going the same since. Took it to a local mechanic and put it on computer saying injector gone so took it out and put in an injector. still the same... Anybody know what is wrong with it or have similar trouble before... Dirty diesel, wire loom trouble...
when van is on it sounds as it is missing only running on 3 cylinders...
anyone know anything could be wrong with it ?

In a diesel caddy. You could change the fuel filter although I don't think it would cause it to run that rough.

Bad loom will show faulty injector on Vag Com/OBD.. Lift off rocker cover and check all connections, after pushing all connections firmly in place, go for drive, if car is running good, then you need to replace loom when it happens one more time, VW Main dealers have original Bosch looms at very good price....

As above, the loom is a common failure on them and will show an injector fault code.

    Thanks for posts,
Put in a new wire loom in engine and still the same.
Engine is running but still missing in that cylinder

Could be replaced injector also bad, replace with other injector from different cylinder , and go for run, if diagnostics show same fault, then need to check wiring. Also check ecu box, make sure it is dry and clean.
