It's getting dicey to let anyone near your house/car these days when selling anything - auctions seem the only way now :(

'adrian kaminski 1988' would seem a bit innocent in matters Irish, especially the 'sus' on someone who wants to view your car - most of us would get a feel for someone by the way they'd be on the phone ?

what a bloody waste !!!

someone out their must know who stole this ?
road/traffic cameras at most junctions in Dublin now so has to be a sighting of this Datsun along the way somewhere ..

Gardaí might be able to track its movements , hope they will !

and a reward of some sort might bring out a name for one of these scumbags !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,060 ✭✭✭Kenny Logins

Everybody that passed that car would have noticed it, it is very distinctive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,266 ✭✭✭MercMad

Thats what I thought, someone must have seen something, especially when removing the wheels etc...

As I said elsewhere I hope the Gardai arent the ones that find them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,748 ✭✭✭Do-more

There is a high likelihood that the Gardai know exactly who stole the car.

When I had a car stolen quite a few years ago I got the name of the street in North Dublin to look around as the car was used as transport home from a burglary down the country. Didn't find it myself but it was recovered in the general area a few days later.

Assuming it was fully covered, there will probably be more effort on the part of the insurance company to not pay out any money on this than in trying to bring the scumbags who stole it to court.

    That is a f*cking travesty.

The terrible irony is they took the worst bit of that car to sell and burnt the rest. I hope the insurance company doesn't act the dick. Don't take the first offer!

A post inciting violence removed, let's keep things civil and let the Gardai deal with the thieves.

Wheels were stolen and was burnt out in Killinarden, Tallaght 5minutes away from where it was stolen.

Gardai WILL KNOW who did this.......

They will indeed. Though in my case it was about 5 months after I got my car nicked before a pair of them turned up to get a statement from me.

I was with AXA at the time and they were good enough at sorting the claim out quickly.
