New build - gaming & general use PC

    Hi folks,
    Looking to put together a first-time build as below...hope I'm not wildly out with the budget. Thanks for any help you can give me.

    1. What is your budget? €750 max inc monitor

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? General use with a bit of gaming. Minecraft is currently the top game in the house with 10yr old but as he gets older this will change so need to futureproof a bit where possible. Also wouldn't mind getting back into the bad gaming habits I had in college. Don't need a major games machine just yet though.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Nope, nothing that's younger than the child mentioned above

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes, aiming for about 27" as want it to be a TV substitute as well

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?     N/A

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Need Keyboard & Mouse, wireless if possible / Wireless Card is a must /Card Reader would be good but not a showstopper / Speakers though monitor with built-ins would suit better / DVD drive if possible too

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yeah why not but don't think it would be necessary for this

    8. How can you pay? Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser/magic beans, whatever

    9. When are you purchasing? Hopefully in next 2 weeks

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Hopefully not
