Do companies value a level 8 degree from a IOT. Would you get job strategy after leaving or because it's not from a uni they don't want you ?

It is more what you are capable of then where your degree is from.
Were you involved in a netsoc?
Did you do more IT stuff then was simply on your course?
    Did you do work experience?

I'm only doing my leaving in the summer.
But my course is from an IT and one of the possible job opportunities is a software engineer which is my dream. But would it matter where it's from

The major thing I would look for, as Moonbeam correctly asks above: is there a work placement element to the course?

It will seem ages away for you now, but the benefit of a year's placement in a company working in role related to your field will prove invaluable when it comes to graduation. Not sure about the IT's, but I went to UL and the Co-Op programme is fantastic. I know DCU run a similar programme, but I don't know is it for all courses or not.

Do you want to go to an IT for any specific reason? One other thing - make sure you are fairly handy mathematically. Software Engineering courses will have significant modules of maths. I wouldn't consider doing so unless you are at sitting maths at higher level and enjoy calculations.

I do ordinary but I'm quite good. I made the decision to do it at 13 and regret it.

I want to go to a IT because the course I want is there and also the points are lower and more achievable
