Planning expiring May 2014

    the planning on my sister in law's house expires in May 2014,

    can anyone tell me how much has to be done by then?

    blocked, roofed & windows?

    Basically all of the above.

    It needs to be watertight/finished externally to be considered complete. Internally it need not be fully complete.

    It depends on the local authority but i believe most need roof complete, some only need to wall plate so you need to check with your local authority

    Jack squat NEEDS to be done tbh.

    There was a change in the legislation under (S.I.) No. 30 OF 2010 whereby no actual physical works needed commencement save for circumstances beyond the control of the applicant ,financial or otherwise, restricted them from doing any works. Contact your own LA and they will have a form to complete with all relevant local questions to be addressed.

    Anyway, under SI 30 OF 2010 and Article 29, it notes that be the insertion of Section 42A into the principle Act what is stated above under 42(1)(a)(ii)(I)and taking that the attached conditions are employed that is it in law...
