Some advice?

    Hi

I have subbed in a school all last year and earlier this year. One of the teachers was going on sick leave so I applied for the position. The subject that I am qualified to teach in.

I did the interview however I did not get the job. I admit the interview was not great but it was ok. I hope the right person got the job (I don't know who it is). I didn't get a letter to say I did not get it.

The school rang today to do some subbing in the school tomorrow. I agreed to do it.

How do approach the situation? Should I go in, ignore it and keep the head down? I am disappointed but should I show it?

I don't want to come off as a sore loser.

    Any advice would be great.

I would just go in and congratulate whoever got the job. The fact that you've been called in again for subbing is a good sign.

Don't refer to it at all. Your there to sub and nothing else. Sorry you didn't get the job, but like other poster said, it's a good sign that they called you in to sub. Don't let it show too much that your disappointed, it's more professional to simply do as your expected to do, teach!

    Good luck with it.

Act as if it never happened and do what you're there to do.
