    Hi all,

About to mod a guitar, and going to stick a lace sensor dually red in the bridge.

However, when it comes to ordering the push/pull pot, what should I be ordering, or what should I be looking at?
A volume pot? Or just a pot? Not too sure...

    Something like this

    http://www.axesrus.co.uk/Medium-Shaft-PushPush-Alpha-Pots-p/medpushpushalpha.htm

250k for single coils 500k for humbuckers

Linear ( B) for volume pot
Log ( A )for tone pot although some guitars just use Log pots
Also check shaft length for the specific guitar

I'm going to be using it on a telecaster bridge humbucker. Should I get the 500K pot? I think it's in the volume pot on a tele but not too sure...

500k would be fine in there.
A lot depends on how bright the pickup is
EG; I always find Duncan JB sounds better with 250k pots, less harsh.

For the sake of a few quid I would get one of each & see which you like best.

Why would it be the volume over the tone pot though? (or vice versa)

    You can do either,
tone pot would probably be easiest to operate

What would the difference be if it were in tone or volume, or does it matter?

    Absolutely no difference

While the pot & dpdt switch are one piece they are completely independent of each other so where you use it doesn't matter

Personally I would put it on the tone pot because its the easiest to access & operate without interfering with anything else
