Helicopter Query

Around 30 minutes ago, a (medium) lift helicopter flew over my house in Clondalkin in a westerly direction towards Baldonnel. It had quite a loud propeller, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't an AW139. I'm not sure if it was a Sikorsky S-92, but it didn't seem to be a SAR helicopter. Sorry for the vague post, but it seemed unusual to me.

Looks like an IRCG 92 routing to Shannon. Currently showing up on AIS.

It must have been that so. Thanks for that. It would have been my first sighting of an S-92, apart from pictures. It sounds good :)

It was Irish Coast Guard Sikorsky S-92A EI-ICD 'Rescue 115' and it landed in Baldonnel @ 1310 and departed for Shannon about 30 minutes later.
I believe it had been to Beaumont Hospital earlier.

There have been a few odd ball visiting helicopters in Dublin the last couple of days, yesterday I saw a military Puma being refueled on the light aircraft ramp and this morning I saw a Lynx taxiing out....

Cheers for that, N7777G. I must keep an eye on any strange aircraft around here. Though, it's usually just the normal IAC aircraft that I'd see, so anything unusual is most welcome :)

Actually it was the same aircraft, french air force super puma. Came in yesterday, departed today for galway.
