    Sorry don't want to set back a good fight, but Gilmore claims Gay Marriage is the civil rights issue of our generation, I disagree, he's talking at best about maximum 3% of the population while prohibition of Cannabis makes criminals and can ruin the lives of at least 30% of the population.
    If were going to have a vote lets at least have them in order of the amount of people they effect.

    I'm all for the use of medicinal marijuana but I think there should be less stoners on the streets, they smell like stale bread and make the place look unsightly. also, the children will be bullied.

    Human equality or recreational drug use, hardly the same thing OP. I am not too bothered by Cannabis use, but is no where near as important in the grand scheme of things as equal marriage rights.
