Hi while trawling through the AAI website I spotted the fixture list for 2014 and noticed that there is a indoor national league pencilled in for the 5th of Jan.
Has anyone got info on this as I don't see any info anywhere.

I don't know that much about it, except that we're going to be competing in it. It's taking the same format as the outdoor league, so 2 days with points awarded for each event which are totalled at the end of 2 days and the top teams go through to the final. All 3 days will be in AIT.

Were you invited or had you to enter a team? Do you know how many teams are competing?

Like I said, I don't really know too much about it. Last year's National League (outdoor) was the first year we had been in it for a few years (I've been told, I only joined in June). There's 2 divisions, with promotion between them. We're in the lower league. I'd imagine the teams entering the Indoor League would be similar to those that competed in the Outdoor League last year.

Only club teams are allowed compete in the indoor league. However there is a facility for individuals to compete as well. I believe it will comprise of a smaller number of events than the outdoor version. Those teams qualifying for the final will also be joined by a number of the individuals.

I don't know much more detail than that at the moment.

More information and online entry for day1 now available on AAI fixtures page. Club rules straightforward. I'm confused by individual rules, says top athletes over first 2 days qualify for final, but there are a completely set of events for days 1and 2.
