New graphics card, which one would suit my pc best?

Current specs, just looking for a decent one that can play most games. Not fussed if its not at the max settings just as long as its to a decent standard.

Budget 100-150 euro..

What cpu? What resolution are you playing at?

A 7790 is probably your best bet in that price range.

You could get a 7870 for 149.99 delivered from Pixmania, or they do a 7790 for 109 delivered.

If the Q6600 is overclocked to a decent level (say, 3.2Ghz+), the 7870 would be no harm, but at stock, I definitely wouldn't invest more than the 7790.

You can get the Asus one on Amazon for €114 with free delivery. After this you should be looking at a full system upgrade. Make sure the card fits your case. There are smaller ones if it won't.

You should overclock your q6600 as well. Buy a decent cpu cooler if you don't have one. The extra cpu speed will help in a lot of games and the q6600's are good overclockers especially if it's the slacr revision.

Not much of pc wizz.. overclocking isn't good long term is it?? or is it ok?? 7870 is best if i dont overclock then? You have a link as I only seen this one?

Id much rather have the 7870 as its pretty much plays most things on high.

The 7790, while cheaper, isnt worth it. Fork out the little bit more imo
