Thinking of getting the windows tinted on a Grand Cherokee. Nothing too dark and want it to look OEM. Any recommendations, who are the best guys in the Dublin area? Thanks.

Used a Vision Fx a lot back in the day, never had a problem.

Proparts in blanchardstown always seem very busy with tints. No personal experience with them.

What kind of cost would it be for a saloon to get rear windows tinted??..and would it be any hassle when it comes to nct?

You just need to not go too heavy on the front side windows. OEM never has very heavy tints at the front side. Any decent place will advise you properly on nct requirements.
Back and rear side windows can be as dark as you want AFAIK.

    Vision site says:

65% light Transmission through the front driver & passenger windows
No restriction on the back section of the vehicle

Don't forget that the front windows may already have a tint and the new tinting could put you over the NCT treshold. ( experience talking)

Needs 65% light pass through the front, rest can be as dark as you want. No sunvisors

Tinting is easy, just get a really good tint t begin with. A fair chunk of the price of a tint is the tint itself. A decent tint has 3 layers which allow it to shape properly to the glass with out distortion, cheapo tint is just coloured sticky plastic that ravels at the slightest sense of heat. Expect to pay about €70 - €100 for a decent amount of top quality tint.

Here's one I did for example with fairly crappy cheap tint

My garnd cherokee came with tint from dealer (11 year's on jeep) last year nct failed the two front windows.

There is already a tint in the glass so if getting tinted make sure that it meets NCT requirements.
