Improv Fest Ireland

    You may have already heard about, Improv Fest Ireland, Ireland's first festival of comedy improvisation which runs for 8 days from 10th to 17th November. All shows bar one take place in the Teacher's Club Theatre in Dublin.

    There are 24 shows taking part including many acts from home and abroad. There are award winning groups such as The Maydays (UK) and ImprovBoston (USA) taking part too.

    Aside from shows, there are 9 workshops taking place from 14th to 17th November with everything from 'Improv for Actors' to 'Musical Improv' to 'Character Development' to name but a few. All the workshops are being run by John Cremer and The Maydays. Some of the workshops are almost full up already!

    The show finale is a Celebrity Charity show for Crumlin Hospital which takes place in the Button Factory on 17th November which will feature some well known Irish personalties performing improv having taking a crash course in it! Performing on the night there is Síle Seoige, Daniella Moyles, Rick O'Shea, Louise Heraghty, Paddy McKenna, Shane Gillen! All the tickets sales go direct to Crumlin.

    A percentage of all other tickets sales also goes direct to Crumlin Hospital.
