Heard that today alright I cannot believe that the publishers will be happy with that price €15 cheaper than smyths. (I would say it could be the last time they get a supply of games on release date by that publisher)

they did the same last year for black ops 2 but they had very little supply

Why? Super valu have done this at least 4 or 5 times at this stage.

It also wold not affect the publishers at all. They get paid a set amount for the games anyway.

You know that *every* new release's RRP is €60 right? Shops sell them cheaper cause they're supplemented by second hand sales. They only sell CoD and Fifa at €60 cause they know the punters who lap them up don't know any better.

Second hand sales in Super Valu? It's a loss leader. Hoping to get you into the store and then have you spend extra elsewhere

Not wising to drag this off topic (got a copy of COD Ghosts in Supervalue, Ballybofey earlier btw) but whats the story with HDWow? Ar they still as unreliable as they were when trading as CD Wow?

Its just that I see them selling some games quite cheap but while I would be tempted to order from them past experience is telling me to avoid them.

Doubt they are selling as a loss leader, the vast majority of customers for the game wouldn't be doing a grocery shop in Super Valu big enough to justify that or even a grocery shop at all. I imagine Musgraves make a once-off bulk buy at a reasonable cost per unit to allow them make a quick buck.

I ordered arkham origins off them for about €37, delivery took a week.

Parents these days pay no attention to PEGI ratings it seems - they don't even know the content they are buyng

DEAR PARENTS: THERE IS A STRIP CLUB IN THIS GAME

Although, I found ways to watch stuff like Aliens (and other 18+ stuff) back when I was 12, so I should not complain.

DEAR PARENTS: This is a game about mass murder and glorification of gun voilence, a broken down "strip club" on a map should be the least of your worries.
