    Hi,
This might be an odd question to ask but I am creating my C.V. and I have been on adverts.ie for several years(2010) and I am a regular seller and buyer on the site.
In 2012 I started to set up my own business by buying stuff in bulk and selling them on adverts.ie, later on I got a call from adverts.ie asking if I wanted to open up a shop, I had accepted that offer.
To this day I frequently sell and try to run my business through adverts.

I also have a shop on ebay, I mainly deal with consumer electronics but I am started to move to the car field, I know this is not a big deal and anyone can be offered a shop but I did not have many work experience in my life apart from market sales that was the only one
Now the question is.... Would this be considered as part of work experience ??

Also I am doing build a bank with bank of ireland trough my school so would that be considered as experience ??

If you put down skills that you learned during these activities I believe you can include it under experience.

thank you so much, it was really bugging me at the start, but now I know.
Just one more thing, say if you find a job what do you give to them apart from your CV... Cover letter or resume ??
    Thanks

Unless they say different, that's fine. And if you're applying by email, the email body should suffice as a cover letter.

Yea I would include it & if I got a cv with ebay experience presented well I would be impressed.
Look at the link below, it will give you some key skills to include & will help you put some structure to it.

    Definitely put it on.

Mention some figures in terms of sales per week/month and what your seller rating is. How much did you grow the "business" in the last 12 months?

If you've been busy ish and maintained a good rating then that says to me you're a self starter, understand sales and marketing, have pride in your work, are Internet and technology savvy, reliable, good with customers etc.

In the interview, be prepared to able to explain what you learned and how you'd apply it to your new job. Also have a solid example of a sticky customer/situation that you managed to fix, and how.
