    Hi All,

Might be in the wrong place and it's a long shot.

I need a fully DOS computer. I have a program which will run on XP but wont work correctly. I've been told I need a fully DOS computer.

Software was made in early 90's.

    Cheers.

    and run dos 6.22*

*as far as i know 6.22 is now freely available for download and use.

    Try DOSBox first.

If you can't figure out the command line/mounting etc then use the following method, I have loads of old games working perfectly on Win7 using this:

    1. Right click Dosbox.exe and create shortcut
    2. Right click the shortcut and click Properties
    3. In the Target box wrap the path in quotes, leave a space and copy in the path to the software executable in quotes so you have something like this in the Target Box:
    "C:\Program Files\DOSBox-0.74\dosbox.exe" "C:\Games\Chess\chess.exe"
    4. Click OK and rename shortcut appropriately

When you double click the shortcut it will open the program with DOSBox.

DOS 6.22 in a VM is another good option though I haven't tried it myself
