I'm looking to get my hands on 6 - 8 foot lengths unsplit Ash - oak - birch. It's for bow making,

Any one know a spot in the north west I could try. Only need one of each, happy to pay a reasonable price.

I have done a little bit of bow making myself. Good quality hardwood merchants import suitable ash from the US. One needs to very selective though. Small craft focused sawmills probably sell an Irish equivalent but I suspect you would need to be even more selective. Unfortunately I only know the SE.
