    Hello

I have tried to calculate how much would my gf get if she applies for job seeker benefit but I was lost among all those calculations

I am on 30k per annum and only extra income we have is that child benefit ( 130 euro a month )

How much would my girlfriend get if she apply for job seeker benefit ?

    Thanks

I'm afraid that your GF won't get anything as you are working and ye are living together.

Are you sure ? Basically because I am working she will not get anything ? Even I am on a single tax credit ?

Has she been working for last 12 months if so she would be entitled to JSB for next 9 months

Sorry was thrown off by the JSA in the title, she is indeed untitled to JSB. best thing to do is go down and fill out the forms and get them in ASAP. maybe talk to citizens advice they should be able to help you with the calculations.

Based on what we got a few years ago in the same position, it was €37 per week.

    That was based on €188 + €124+ €29.80 - means of €304 per week.

Atleast if she is in receipt of a payment she can do a course or an internship.

If she qualifies for jsb at full rate then she will get €188 pw for 9 months max. When her benefit exhausts and if your circumstances are still the same e.g. your earnings and 1 child then she will get €34 approx on jsa. At that stage it may be better for you to apply for family income supplement again this would depend on your net weekly income.

If shes anyway interested in College theres Back to Education.

You might get the 188 throughout college years then.
