Lads what would ye recommend for max voltage 24/7 for a 4670k on water???
I currently have it @ 1 .28v 4.2ghz and while gaming it gets to 67c...
    I can go to 4.5 @ 1.35v but starts to get a bit hot..like 80c+.Cooler is a nh-d14...
I will be going on water in the next three weeks so was wondering if it would be ok @ 1.35v if it is cool..
Also would it be a good idea to delid for the sake of it..

1.35 is a lot for for 4.5ghz. How are you overclocking? And how are you stress testing? Haswell is tricky to overclock and you can get big core voltage drops in stability by fiddling with other settings. I have a very average chip and I have my 4770k (i7) clocked at 4.5ghz at 1.29vcore (VRIN and vcore seem to work together). Are you changing the uncore?

As for max safe voltage, 1.4 should be fine under water as long as you can cool it (which should be easy enough to do with a good setup, especially if you delid). But really I'd work on tweaking your overclock on air first, as it seems like you're brute forcing stability by throwing voltage at it.

I will some more research tonight and see what i can come up with...
The board is a asus maximas formula 6.
Im basically just using Gaming and a run of cinebench/aida 64 to test...But as long as it is stable for gaming is my main concern...
I had it @ 4.4 with 1.295v then I tried to tweak it more and spat the dummy and left it @ 4.2... Have spent too many hours trying to get a good clock instead of gaming...
