Sent Wrong Statement.

I ordered a Statement for my current account for all of 2012 on Thursday 24th of October. It was something I needed urgently.

It arrived today, and what I was sent was a statement for my current account for 2013 so far. Right account, wrong year. I am absolutely fuming that it's the wrong one!

If i order it again, will it take another 6 working days? Because if it does, then that's useless to me as it'll be too late.

Also, I had to pay for this statement. As it was your mistake, I'm not planning on paying again for the correct one.

What are my options? I need the actual statement I ordered as soon as possible.

    Hi Average-Ro,

Firstly I would like to apologies for this error. As the incorrect statement was requested on your behalf, if you call your branch or Bank of Ireland 365, there should be no charge for the correct one.

Another option is to sign up for eStatements on Banking 365 and print from there. This may depend on your purpose.

    Thanks
    Linda

Thanks for your prompt reply. Is there any way of getting this statement faster than 5-7 working days?

Getting it yesterday was fine, and left me with time (if it had been the correct one) However, as it's the wrong one, having to wait another 5 days minimum for the correct one would be too late.

    Hi Average-Ro,

If the incorrect statement dates were ordered with a Bank of Ireland 365 representative, you will need to call to check the dates ordered.

Duplicate statements can also be ordered online through our Online Service Desk. If they were ordered here, you can check your sent items of your Inbox to check the dates requested.

Statements are issued centrally. They would not be available to retrieve from a branch.

    It will be best to call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365 / 00353 140 44000.

Apologies, there is no quicker process we could suggest to you.

    Thanks
    Alison

Thank you both, Alison and Linda. I'll call into them in person and take it from there.
