Unfortunately I have been victim of a scammer and now have to find a new room. I am entitled to rent allowance. Is there any one in Dublin who would have a room available on rent allowance? I do not drink and drugs and am quiet.

    GO to your welfare officer,
she,ll put you into the a hostel.
THEN you,ll have a chance to look for a flat,or save up for a deposit.
    YOU get 1 room, with a bathroom,shower, a tv.
i think most hostels, have a rule,
    go out at 12 noon,
    STAY out til 4-5pm.
if you have nowhere ,else to go.
GET advice from centrecare, its in cathedral st, near burger king.
    JUST off O,CONNELL ST.

i presume you are saying someone took your room deposit.

i,m not talking about a night hostel, where people stay for 1 night after 10pm.

I am looking for a room. If I can not find one I can find a bed in a hostel but then I will lose my belongings. CWO does not help in such situations.

Unfortunately there is no way of getting a room with rent allowance in or around Dublin on daft. There is no search for rent allowance either. There is one for max rent but the rooms found there state no rent allowance accepted or they text me back with no rent allowance accepted.

Since the new rules ,came in ,re bathrooms, bedsits,
the no of flats that take ra is gone done.
focuspoint give out list every day 11 am, focuspoint temple bar,
    cafe,
    https://www.focusireland.ie/
    Advice &
    Info Coffee Shop
    15 Eustace St, Dublin 2
    Tel:
    01 671 2555
    Email:
    dublinadvice@focusireland.ie
    or coffeeshop@focusireland.ie

THEY,LL give you advice ,re finding a flat.

eustace st is in temple bar,
PAST new macdonalds, about 4 minutes walk away.
as you go away from the city centre direction.
if you are put into a hostel,
theres space in the room for storage.
you stay in the same room every day.

    go and see your cwo.

in my experience ,90 per cent of landlords dont accept rent allowance.
LOOK for the cheapest flats and maybe ring them,
would suit professional= will not accept ra.

EVEN a ra flat will, need 400-500 euro deposit.

You go by the rent on the ad, is it below the rent allowance limit,
    text or email the landlord.
do you accept ra tenants ?

MAYBE look for a large flat,or 1 bed apartment ,
if you cant find a house.
