Gay in the midlands

    I'm 21 and looking to meet some gay people.

    More for friendship but if the right guy comes around great! :)

    I'm located in Offaly, and there isn't any bars, societies etc for the LGBT community around. Or have I missed them?

    Hey Niall :) I'm from Offaly too and tbh I've never heard of any bars or clubs or the like in the County. I don't think there is much demand for them to be honest. I might be wrong but so far I've never heard of any gay bars or any LGBT groups being set up in the area :L It seems most young (gay) people seem to go off to college and meet people there and experience the LGBT community that way :L Not much in Offaly anyway as ya know yourself :P

    Yeah I know, it sucks! And I don't even know many gays around the midlands either! Oh well . . . Forever alone! :P haha

    Ha well ya never know there might be more around than you think lol :P Are you goin to college anywhere around the country that you could experience/meet new people there?
