Calculating dutching bet amounts

    Suppose I have a match with the following odds on the 1 X 2 market
    1.63 3.72 5.22

    As opposed to laying the Away team at 5.22 and making £5 profit if it fails to win, I want to split my bet between the home and Draw options and make £5 that way. I don't want to do a double chance.
    Put simple, hw do I calculate the amounts I need to put on each of Home and Draw in order to have a £5 profit if either result comes in for me.
    I want to get the formula for calculating it as opposed to a link to an online dutching calculator.
    Cheers .....

    Divide 100 by the decimal price:

    100/1.63 = 61.349
    100/3.72 = 26.881

    So you are backing 88.23% of the market or just under 1/7 (1.13 decimal price)

    To win a fiver (or any amount) at 1.13 you need to stake 5.00/0.13 = 38.46 (or amount to win/over decimal price)

    Now divide this by the total percent of the market you are backing: 38.46/.8823 = 43.59

    Then Multiply this figure by the first percentages:

    1.63 = 43.59 * .61349 = 26.74
    3.72 = 43.59 * .26881 = 11.72
