hi there just wondering what ye think of the following beef ration for feeding to weanlings and what sort of price is it worth.
    300 ton bulk.

    beef nuts plus yeast
    composition in deciding order :

maize, barley, wheat, soya hulls, distilled dried grain, rape seed meal, palm kernel expeller ,cane molasses, calcium carbonate ,sodium chloride, vegetable oil.

    15% protein

    thanks

Would consider that too dear by 30 euro at least. Soya hulls giving a lot of the protein which is only 15% anyway and palm kernel is a filler I never want to see in my mix.

Remember barley and wheat are not expensive this year and they are 2 of your main 3.

For weanlings, would you go higher with the protein and also a more reliable source of protein. Soya hulls can be very variable. Just my opinion though, few lads on here are a lot better at this game.

OP is that in bulk or bags, either way it may help to explain what seems to be a high price.

Needs to be at least 18% CP for weanlings I reckon, and the protein needs to be from a decent source eg. soya bean meal, not hulls not distillers.
