Topaz Fuel Card

    Hi All.

    Just a quick question about the Topaz Fuel Card.

    There website state it's 2cent cheaper using the card.

    Is that 2cent cheaper from the Petrol station your using ? .. or 2cent cheaper then there cheapest petrol station ?


    The reason I ask is this..

    there are 2 Topaz's close to me - Greenhills Road and Tallaght Bypass.
    The closest Petrol station is a Maxol in Tymon North.

    The Maxol is always 2 - 3 cent cheaper then either Topaz's sometimes even 4 cent cheaper.

    So would there be any point in getting a card ? Or is the 2cent cheaper off there lowest price in Ireland ?

    Afaik its 2c off the price in that station, there was a large thread on this recently as they changed their toc's recently.

    It used to be a fixed price no matter which station you went to.

    ah i see.. well then it's pointless for me :D. I use my local station 9 time out of 10.. and it's always cheaper then the Topaz's

    it's 2c off the pump price of whatever station you're at

    the topaz card has gone to ****e since they brought in these changes

    I thought it was 3.5c off or was this a part of the changes too?

    Just wondering. I always fill up in the same Texaco station. Would they have a "loyalty" card of some description like what you boys are talking about? Something that might give me stamps or a cent or two off?

    It probably varies from Station to Station I'm guessing?

    Pointless using the card now, it used to be (sometimes) worth it with the monthly billing and fixed price

    Now it is worthless.
