Wedding legal issues

    Hi folks,
Greetings from East Africa. I'm marrying a Dutch lady soon in Ireland.

In the Netherlands, everyone signs a contract/pre-nup to agree how to manage the finances during the marriage. From what I understand, thats not too popular a thing in Ireland these days.
So a few questions I'm hoping you folks will be able to help me out with.

Will Irish family law protects my nearly-wife if I go bankrupt? Or protect me if she develops a gambling habit and bets the family home on red.
Would a prenup can fix that?
Will there be any problem legalising the marriage in the Netherlands?

Or should I speak to a family lawyer? If so, any recommendations?

    Thanks
