Is that going to replace Bio Channel, or are they just renaming it?

There a quite a good few things I watch on Bio, so is there a chance they are going to move it even?

I got the details in the usual weekly email from Sky and from reading the description it says that Bio is being replaced by Lifetime so I take it thats the end of Bio....could be wrong though.

Yeh Bio ceased broadcasting this morning at 6am, Lifetime HD and +1 will launch tonight at 8pm.
Lifetime is a British entertainment television channel scheduled to launch on 4 November 2013, owned by A+E Networks UK, a joint venture between A+E Networks and BSkyB. The channel will replace Bio.

Programmes announced to be airing include The Client List, Damages, Witches of East End, the Lifetime U.S. original movie Liz & Dick and an original series called The Proposers.

Bio used to be a good channel. They used to have documentaries about musicians, actors and historical figures. In the last year or so they completely stopped broadcasting these documentaries in favour of reality TV nonsense.

Lifetime appears to be much the same except it's more obvious that the programmes are aimed at women. It's mainly reality TV but there are also a few series that seem to be aimed at the type of people who loved Sex And The City.

It's sad to see Bio go, but it already stopped showing anything interesting or unique over a year ago.

    Agreed..

I used to love watching Hardcore Pawn.

I think they still show it for now, but it's at a much later time.
