    Does anybody know if you can use Skype while in UCD? I know the WaveLan wireless network doesn't allow for certain things like FTP programs but Eduoram does, but does WaveLan or Eduroam allow for you to make a Skype call?

    I'll be meeting up with other students for a group session yet I'll need to speak to somebody earlier in the morning.

    Eduroam works perfectly for Skype, in my experience at least.

    Pretty sure its unblocked on WaveLAN too. Wouldn't trust it for an important call however, the Wifi is being upgraded I believe and is beyond woeful, at least on Mac. Lots of drop outs and authentication issues.
