Well lads was gonna head out for a stalk tonite but my young lad wanted to go shooting with me. So I ditched the gun for a cap gun and the young lad.

I decided to stick up my trail camara and bring him with me. Of to Wicklow we went and when we got ther it was just dark. And he got to see four deer. I was delighted even doe I didn't have the gun to be honest it ment more to me that he seen one so we were both over the moon.

We set up the camara and headed back to the car. While on the side of the road in the pitch black dark changing our boots. A guy stoped and asked were we ok. I have to to say I said fair ball to him. Because in 4 months of being around there a lot it's the first person that has ever stopped to say hello ask how things were and if everything was ok.
Its a dieing trate of the Irish country side and I was glad someone still cares enough and I sincerely hope it doesn't die away.

Anyway prity pointless story but fair play and if the guy is on here and you asked a guy with a young boy were they ok.

Thank you and sure if your on here get in touch with me.

Ah stop he loved it. To be honest I thought he might of been abit afraid of the dark, but not a bother he had his hat with the light on it and he was happy out. I just made sure we had everything lights etc and we didn't need to travel to far at all.

I'd rather leave the gun at home and go look at the deer with him any day. Never mind if I had the gun I wouldn't have seen any. Murphy's law.
